1. Where do you deliver?
We deliver all over the UK. While we aim to keep things as local to Essex as possible, we believe everyone deserves access to high-quality food — so we don’t want anyone to miss out.
2. When will I receive my order?
Veg boxes are dispatched the Wednesday following your order and are delivered within 1–2 days. Other items (like meat and cheese) are shipped alongside the veg box when ordered together. If you'd like them delivered earlier, please place a separate order. For eligible orders with free delivery, just leave a note at checkout and we’ll separate them at no extra cost.
3. Can I subscribe to the veg box?
Yes! You can order a one-off veg box or subscribe to receive one weekly. Subscription pricing is the same, and you can pause or cancel at any time.
4. How will I know what’s in my veg box?
You’ll receive an email every Wednesday evening confirming your order and what’s included in that week’s box, along with your estimated delivery date.
5. What if I’m not home when it’s delivered?
You’ll receive tracking info via email where you can leave safe place instructions. Produce is packed for freshness, but should be refrigerated as soon as possible. If no safe place is left and the courier redelivers or the parcel is left out too long and spoils, we can’t offer a refund.
6. Are all your products organic?
Our veg is always organic. Other products like wine or preserves may not be, but this is clearly listed on each product page.
7. Are your products local to Essex?
We prioritise Essex and neighbouring counties, but occasionally stock high-quality items from further afield when they align with our values.
8. Why aren’t salad and herbs listed?
Due to their delicate nature and shorter shelf life, we don’t sell salad and herbs separately. However, they may appear in veg boxes from time to time as free extras.
9. How do you reduce plastic waste?
We use compostable and recyclable packaging whenever possible. You can request no plastic at checkout, and we’ll do our best to honour it while maintaining food safety and product quality.
10. Do you offer gift cards?
Not currently, but we’d love to in the future. If you're interested, let us know!
11. How can I get in touch?

12. Can you supply local food businesses?
Yes — get in touch if you're interested in sourcing from us for your café, shop, or other food business.
13. How are your prices set?
We aim to keep things fair for both customer and producer. Prices reflect the real cost of sustainable, ethical food — without supermarket markups or shortcuts.
14. Do you pick produce to order?
Yes! Most of our veg is picked to order, meaning it’s ultra-fresh, reduces waste, and arrives in peak condition.
15. Can I request specific items in my box or let you know about allergies?
If you have a preference, please leave a note in the checkout and we’ll try our best to accommodate it. For serious allergies, please let us know in your order notes — we’ll either make adjustments or get in touch to discuss options.
