Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for shopping with Craving Local! We’re proud to offer locally sourced produce and goods to our community. Below you'll find our policy regarding shipping and local delivery.

1. Delivery Areas

We currently offer delivery within the following areas:

  • The United Kingdom 

If you're unsure whether we deliver to your address, please contact us at crvnlocal@gmail.com before placing your order.

2. Delivery Schedule

Orders are typically delivered on:

  • Wednesdays for weekly veg box subscriptions

  • Other items (meat, cheese, preserves, etc.) may be delivered alongside your box or within 1–3 working days of your order, depending on stock and coordination with local suppliers.

Please check our website for the most up-to-date delivery schedule.

3. Packaging & Sustainability

We use recyclable and/or compostable packaging wherever possible. We encourage customers to reuse or recycle packaging materials. If you have special requests (e.g. no plastic), leave a note at checkout and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

4. Delivery Costs

  • Veg Box Deliveries: Free within our local delivery zones.

  • One-Off Orders: Delivery cost is calculated at checkout based on your location and order contents.

5. Missed Deliveries

If you're not in during your delivery window, we’ll try to leave your order in a safe place or with a neighbour. Please let us know any delivery instructions at checkout.

If we cannot deliver or find a safe place, you may be asked to collect your order or arrange redelivery (subject to a fee). Spoilage of perishable goods caused by missed deliveries or failure to collect within a reasonable time is not eligible for a refund.

6. Delays

We aim to deliver on time, but delays can occur due to weather, traffic, or supplier issues. We’ll notify you as soon as possible if your order is delayed.

7. Risk & Ownership

Risk of loss passes to you once the order has been delivered to your nominated address. Please inspect your items upon receipt and contact us within 24 hours if anything is missing or damaged.
